News about games closing down is always sad, but they become more common day after day. There are rumors online saying that Rumbleverse might be shutting down quite soon. While it was a successful game last year, there are many battle-royale titles out there that dominate the market. Fortnite, Apex Legends, and many more lead the ranks of this genre. Now, just like Spellbreak, it would seem that Rumbleverse is saying farewell to its player base. But, this is just a rumor. While the person behind it is quite reliable, we should not say goodbye yet until we get an official announcement.
Rumbleverse might be shutting down in February according to rumors
It is sad to hear that this colorful battle royale might be closing its doors next month. While it isn’t official right now, it wouldn’t be too crazy. Rumbleverse is a great game that launched a season not long ago but still can’t compete against other giants of the genre. While it is a fun game, people always come back to games like Fortnite. This one has some of the best gameplay out there and some great collaborations including one with Dead Space that just launched.

Rumbleverse Update 1.09 Patch Notes
So, if the rumors about Rumbleverse turn out to be true, many players will have to find a new home to play in. Still, it would seem that these types of games will not cease. The Division is planning its own battle royale, and we can only see many more franchises making their way to this genre. It is something that gives companies a lot of money due to its game-as-a-live service nature. In the meantime, players can still jump into Rumbleverse and play some matches while we wait for more news. So far nothing has been confirmed so here’s hoping the game can stand for a bit longer.
