A recently surfaced Pokémon Unite leak may suggest that Tsareena is set to be the next Pokémon in line to join the game’s roster. According to a recent data mine conducted by Sobble’s Unite Datamine via Twitter, the Grass-type Pokémon is set to arrive on December 9, and will reportedly be free to acquire based on the promotional image. Normally, players have to purchase Pokémon in the roster with Pokémon Unite‘s in-game currency, Aeos Gems, which are most easily acquired with real money.

The Pokémon Company has yet to confirm or deny the details of the leak, although more information will likely be shared as the supposed release date looms closer. If this leak proves accurate, it would bring the current roster of Pokémon Unite from 27 to 28, following the recent release of Decidueye.
It is unclear if Tsareena will arrive alongside any other content update to Pokémon Unite, as Decidueye did. The most recent update for Pokémon Unite came on November 8 with the start of the season of the games’ second battle pass on – titled Sun, Sun, Sunshine – which brings with it a variety of new features and accessories for players to enjoy, including new Holowear fro trainers and Pokémon.
Specifically, the battle pass brings with it the Sunshine Style Holowear for Venusaur and the Adept Style Holowear Charizard and chic new fashion items for Trainer avatars, as well as 90 levels with unique missions and corresponding rewards. Players can complete up to three missions per day to obtain battle pass points in addition to the weekly and seasonal missions to unlock new rewards and a premium pass that automatically increases a player’s battle pass level by 10.
