A Nintendo insider has posted more information on what the company intends to do for the NX console. The company will be putting out more first party games from the sounds of things.

Nintendo insider, Emily Rogers, posted more information she found out about the NX console over on her blog page. She posted:  “The big fundamental focal point (and overall goal) behind NX is to vastly increase the software output from Nintendo’s first party teams and studios.”

She went on to say that Nintendo is going to go through some big changes to achieve this. The company is adopting a new strategy that will enable it to produce and release games at a more faster rate she added.

Another thing that was mentioned is that many unannounced Wii U games are now going to be released for the new console instead. It is more than likely that 2016 will be the last year that the Wii U receives any significant games as it sounds like Nintendo is going all-out on its new console from now on.

Nintendo needs the NX console to be a success which is why it wants to release many great first party games on a more frequent basis. Not to mention the company needs to recover the losses it made on the Wii U.
