After creating four titles in the Saint’s Row franchise, it appears Volition is ready to move forward and begin work on a brand new IP if this new rumor is to be correct. Volition began hiring more world designers several months ago, with some of these listings including a call for a variety of positions such as a Senior animator. The descriptions and qualifications ask for experience in “realistic motion” and a “broad knowledge base of RPGs”.
The rumor emerged over at OnlySP, where they include full listings of the jobs spotted, and mention that all of the news is still speculation until any real announcement is made. Volition’s last title was Saint’s Row IV on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, and the Gat out of Hell expansion which include a move to the new generation of consoles.
