Rumor has it that the Ant-Man and the Wasp cast might bring on a brand new character! In fact, the Ant-Man cast might be bringing on a child character (age 9-12). Who might this be? Well, that’s what the fans are trying to figure out.
Mystery New Ant-Man and the Wasp Character
The news of a new character possibly being added to the Ant-Man and the Wasp cast is not the only Ant-Man rumor going around. A recent leak suggests that the size-changing superhero might be joining Fortnite. If true, he would be joining the good company of other members of the Avengers that have already joined this highly popular video game.
So, the Ant-Man cast is getting bigger! It is also getting stronger, or at least Evangeline Lilly is in this video of her Wasp workout prep she posted on IG. What does that mean for this mystery child actor? Marvel is supposedly “looking for young actors [9-12] who are skilled in comedy, singing, and dancing.”
This means they are probably looking for someone who can keep up with powerful performances and amazing fight scenes we’ve come to expect from the Ant-Man movies.
The Ant-ticipation
It is a good time to be a Marvel fan. Disney+ recently revealed that they are adding Marvel’s What if…? series in August. This announcement comes only weeks after the season highly-viewed finale of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The recent pandemic set much of Marvel’s content back by a year. Now, Marvel seems to be making up for it by dropping news of new content every day and we are certainly not complaining (right now, at least).
It is also a great time to be an Ant-Man fan as filming starts on May 31 in Atlanta and London. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is set for release on February 17, 2023.
