Update 1.04 for Rumbleverse has arrived and here are all the changes and improvements coming to the game with this patch. 1.04 is the last update before the launch of Season 2 of Rumbleverse, and the patch notes aren’t exactly massive. The update will mainly focus on some performance improvements for Rumbleverse and some balance changes to dive moves. Here are the complete patch notes coming to Rumbleverse with the 1.04 update.
Rumbleverse Update 1.04 Patch Notes
We’ve released a small update for Rumbleverse in preparation for Season Two, to improve a performance issue, and address the Dive family of moves:
- Improved performance for high-end PCs running with V-Sync disabled
- Deployed backend updates for season roll-over preparation
The team has been observing the Dive family of moves after the changes we made in the Mid-Season Update. We have seen players discovering ways to continue the combo after landing a second Dive, leading to unintended looping combos.
We’ve also heard community feedback that, while the new ground attack feature is fun, the Dive family may have too much versatility with its ability to cause very long-distance ring-outs. As a result, we have made the following changes:
- After being hit by a second Dive in the same combo, players will be invulnerable until landing and landing in the invulnerable on-back state.
- If the fall causes damage, players will instead land in a vulnerable on-back state
- Significantly reduced the distance a player gets knocked back on the second Dive combo hit, reducing the player’s ability to cause ring-outs with these moves
These changes should maintain the Dive family’s identity as a traversal move and ground attack combo starter, without letting it be the jack-of-all-trades move it had become.
- If the fall causes damage, players will instead land in a vulnerable on-back state
Rumbleverse fans should be very excited for the update coming to the game after 1.04, as Season 2 should have a lot more to add to the game. Update 1.04 for Rumbleverse is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. For more information on future Rumbleverse updates and patch notes, visit the game’s website.
