As The CW looks ahead to the second season of Batwoman, they’ll also have to look for a new star. Via Deadline, Ruby Rose has exited the Batwoman series.
The current plan for The CW going forward is to recast the role of Kate Kane/Batwoman with a new LGBTQ actress. Although the network nor Ruby Rose provided a reason behind her departure, Rose did issue this statement:

While Batwoman opened its season to mixed reviews, many claimed that the series actually got much better as time went on and Ruby Rose continued to shine as Kate Kane. Since this is a developing story, we’ll just have to wait and see if there are any new developments regarding this news.
