Scotto stated that Wendy loves Fresco’s meatballs. Then she disclosed that she had a chat with the American broadcaster. Wendy Williams told Scotto she’ll be coming to have some meatballs and that she needs help opening a restaurant.
The “Good Day New York” co-host was surprised and quipped by asking Wendy if she wanted to take her customers away. She also joked that she didn’t know if the 58-year-old wanted her to be a waitress.
Then Scotto admitted that although it will be a big competition, she loves Wendy and is willing to help with her request.
Wendy Williams is Opening a Restaurant Amid Ongoing Challenges
Wendy Williams’ idea of opening a restaurant is an excellent one. However, she’s been battling health problems alongside addiction problems. She was reportedly at death’s door in 2020 before her friends intervened.
Per Page Six, she was found catatonic, and her apartment was a mess. Multiple sources also confirmed she received two blood transfusions because she was very low on iron.
Another perturbing report about the star was sometime last month when she was back in rehab for substance abuse issues. It was during the same period she had a fallout with her production coy, Debmar-Mercury.
Many think these challenges will stop Wendy Williams from opening a restaurant, but they may be wrong. With help from Rosanna Scotto, the star is likely to achieve her dream.
Scotto is willing to help the star in more ways. According to her, she would take Wendy on a girls’ spa date. Nothing fancy, just two ladies having a little massage and good girls’ time.
Wendy is missed on air, but fans can catch up with her in the yet-to-be-achieved restaurant plan.
Progress Wendy!
