The live-action series inspired by Hirihiko Araki’s Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan has confirmed a live-action movie for May 26th. This time, the adaptation will cover the story of Rohan at the Louvre, based on the manga title of the same name as a live action movie. The cast and staff from the original live-action Thus Spoke Kishbe Rohan series would return for the movie. Lastly, the movie’s official website opened Wednesday morning with an official trailer and visual.

Issei Takahashi will reprise his role as the titular Rohan Kishibe. Marie Iitoyo will also reprise her role as Kyoka Izumi, Rohan’s editor. Takahashi went on to say that the film can be considered the series‘ “ninth episode.” He also revealed that they are filming on-site in France after having finished scenes in Japan. The live-action series’s two most recent episodes premiered on December 26th and 27th.

The first three episodes of the series debuted in December 2020 in Japan. The second installment of three episodes premiered at the end of December 2021. Retro Crush is currently streaming the first three episodes.

Araki’s original manga of the same name has recently debuted a new story titled “Dripping Art Technique.” The story first started in Shueisha’s Ultra Jump magazine in April 2022. The second part is scheduled to premiere in May.

In regards to animation, david production adapted two Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan stories as original anime. Netflix currently has the two episodes available for streaming. They are also available to purchase on DVD and Blu-Ray.
