Rumors about Rocksteady’s latest project after they finished the Batman Arkham series have been one of the video game hot topics on the internet for months. First, there was an anonymous report that said they were trying to pitch a Superman game to Warner Bros. but the idea was rejected. Then, reports about a domain listing for a Justice League and/or Suicide Squad game was leaked to the video game forum ResetEra. Considering the official teaser picture above, the leak from website names was the correct clue for what Rocksteady is cooking right now all along.
DC FanDome is a free 24-hour virtual convention that will be hosted by Warner Bros. The event will stream panels starring the casts and crew of Wonder Woman 1984, Batman vs Superman: The Dawn of Justice Snyder Cut, The Suicide Squad, and more. Game journalist and The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley also announced that he will be attending the DC FanDome event. Considering there were rumors regarding a Harry Potter open-world RPG and a new game from Batman Arkham Origins studio Warner Bros. Montreal, called Gotham Knights, we can definitely expect more WB-themed game announcements coming later this month.
