One of the most hotly anticipated titles from Rocksteady is, of course, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Announced almost 18 months ago, the title has received so much interest and intrigue from all types of players. Fans of DC and horde shooters alike are interested in seeing what comes next from Rocksteady Studios. While the CG announcement trailer was to generate hype, the discussions last year were not as some hoped. While the release date was always pinned for some time in 2022, not many were sure when that could occur. Now it seems like Warner Brothers are giving the title more time. According to Bloomberg sources, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been delayed to 2023 due to pandemic production challenges.

Why Is Rocksteady Studios Delaying Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League?
While the COVID-19 Pandemic has been affecting all parts of life, game development has undoubtedly been one area that hurt most. Relying on working from home can be chaotic and certainly mismanage-able. As certain features are slipping behind schedule, a delay is sometimes necessary. With overall production stalling, there’s no wonder most games see month to year-long delays. While Warner Brothers may be delaying the title today, there’s hope to see more from the game late this year. Yet one can only hope that a further delay will only add to the quality of the finished product. Seeing how many titles have been taking the route in the last few years, one can only hope for the future. Seeing how The Game Awards loves to cap off what’s to come, it would be a great showing of Rocksteady’s progress after last year’s gameplay reveal.
