Hot on the heels of the news that fans won’t have to worry too much about Rockstar’s position on GTA V mods. Now it seems that fans are ready for some PC exclusive features (video editing and the exclusive The Lab radio station) to come to consoles. Thankfully, Rockstar looks to oblige their fans.
According to a recent Rockstar Newswire post fans should be expecting the previously PC exclusive Video Editor to make its way to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Sadly it won’t be able to make it to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 due to tech constraints. However, ‘The Lab’ radio station is set to arrive on all other platforms in the near future as well. Check out what Rockstar had to say about it.
“The Rockstar Editor is an advanced tool requiring additional processing power so it would not be compatible with GTAV on the older systems, but we are currently working on a version tailored for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles – and we hope to release that sometime this summer, or as soon as it is ready. We are also planning to bring The Lab radio station to all four consoles in a forthcoming title update. Please stay tuned for more information.”
It seems that Rockstar is doing their best to accommodate fans for all platforms. Although, as the game continues to evolve over time PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions will likely end up just a memory.
