Time to make some space if you’re planning on getting the new game.

You’d basically have to be living under a rock at this point to consider yourself a gamer and not know that Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the most highly anticipated upcoming games. Those who want to play it, however, will have to clear out a ton of space on their console of choice to be able to download this monster.

A lot of supposed Red Dead Redemption 2 file sizes have been floating around lately, such as the Xbox store claiming that the Xbox One version of the game will be 88.56 GB, and the PlayStation store stating that the PlayStation 4 version will be 105 GB. However, developer Rockstar Games has recently revealed the actual file sizes for the game, and they’re even bigger than these already egregiously huge file sizes revealed by Xbox and PlayStation.

According to Rockstar themselves, both digital and physical copies of the Xbox One version of Red Dead Redemption 2 will require 107 GB of installation space. A physical copy of the PS4 version will be a little bit less, requiring 99 GB of space. But a digital copy of the PS4 version will require another 50 GB on top of that 99 GB for the “installation process,” bringing the total up to 149 GB. That’s ridiculously enormous. You’ll have to clear out a ton of space, or maybe consider investing in an external hard drive, if you want to play the game when it comes out next week.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to release for PS4 and Xbox One on October 26.
