Rocket League is no stranger to new content. From new skins for your car to new ways to play, the game offers a lot to keep players entertained. Developer Psyonix keeps the game exciting for fans in a variety of ways, such as introducing Limited Time Modes. As the name suggests, these are Rocket League game modes only available for a set length of time. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. If you’re a fan of Rocket League, you’ll probably want to know when the next Limited Time Mode is available, so you can jump into the action without missing anything. Well, you’re in luck! The next Limited Time Mode, Knockout Bash, begins April 27th.
What Can You Expect From the Rocket League Knockout Bash Limited Time Mode?
In the Rocket League Knockout Bash, eight players will compete against each other for victory. It’s every car for itself as players attempt to knock out opponents by attacking, grabbing, and throwing the other cars into one of several hazards in the arena. Hit a hazard, and you will be knocked out. However, here’s where things get a little different, as of today’s announcement notes.
Players can escape danger in the constantly shrinking Safezone, but only for a short while. Trying to stay longer than ten seconds will knock the player out.
If the match goes on for too long without a winner, another rule comes into play.
The Knockout Bash Limited Time Mode will take place in three new arenas: Carbon, Quadron, and Calavera. The event begins in Rocket League on April 27th and will conclude on May 10th.
