To help Season Two of Rocket League go out with a bang and help get some attention on Fortnite’s new Season Six, Epic Games has decided to unleash a new Llama-Rama event to celebrate them both. Running from March 25 to April 9 of this year, this Llama-Rama will involve a series of challenges to perform in Rocket League and will reward players of both that game and Fortnite for completion of the challenges. This guide will outline each challenge and help you get through them so you can get all the rewards for this event!
The Llama-Rama Challenges and How to Complete Them
CHALLENGE 1: BEYONDER
- Description: Play three online matches
- Fortnite Reward: Battle Ball Spray
- Rocket League Reward: Topper – DJ Yonder
This one’s pretty self-explanatory – just complete three online matches against at least one other player and you’ve completed the challenge.
CHALLENGE 2: MORE LLAMA BELL
- Description: Get 500 total points in online matches
- Fortnite Reward: Llama-Rama Loading Screen
- Rocket League Reward: Player Anthem – Llama Bell
This challenge isn’t referring to goals scored but rather points gained from pulling off some sick moves in a match, such as saves, goals, blowing up an opponent by ramming them, or getting an assist. The more you do these things, the more points you rack up. If you’re already pretty decent at Rocket League, this challenge should be pretty easy to knock off, as well.
CHALLENGE 3: OVER YONDER
- Description: Get five Goals, Assists, or Saves in online matches
- Fortnite Reward: Everybody Dance! Lobby Track
- Rocket League Reward: Octane Decal – DJ Yonder
If you’re already trying to knock off the previous challenge, you may as well start on this one, too: this one is also pretty self-explanatory.
CHALLENGE 4: UMBRELLA ROYALE
- Description: Get five Clears and Centers in online matches
- Fortnite Reward: Zooming Wrap
- Rocket League Reward: Wheels – Umbrella Royale
This one is a little more tricky as clears and centers aren’t always the easiest things to get. Centers are like a pass to the front of the opponent’s net in an effort to set up an easy tap in whereas Clears are usually when you see a Center and you get the ball away from the net, effectively clearing it away. It’s a pretty simple thing but the opportunity doesn’t always present itself so to get this challenge straightened away, just try to be mindful of the kind of player you’ll need to be.
CHALLENGE 5: EXTRA ORDINARY
- Description: Play one online match in any of the Extra Modes playlists
- Fortnite Reward: Turbo Ball! Back Bling
- Rocket League Reward: Player Title – Extra Ordinary
This one is super simple: there’s a variety of game modes outside of the straightforward game modes and you only have to play one full match in any of these Extra Modes and you’ve got this one in the bag.
CHALLENGE 6: WINNING IS EVERYTHING (ROCKET LEAGUE REWARD ONLY)
- Description: Win 10 online matches (Repeatable)
- Rocket League Reward: 20,000 XP
This one is one you’ll probably want to focus on most, especially if you’re doing this more for the Rocket League rewards than for Fortnite as this one is completely repeatable and is completely worth the price of admission.
