Ubisoft has made it clear that it will include real-life climate issues in the upcoming Skull & Bones and the future Riders Republic events to make more people aware of the problems while playing the two games.

The Riders Republic event will be pulling up the issues surrounding the devastating wildfires and incorporating them later in the year or early next year. Skull & Bones was supposed to be released next year but has recently been given some hope of a possible Fall release, so you can expect the events to be included around the same time.

What Are the Details Surrounding the Riders Republic Events?

The Riders Republic events will be “short and intense,” according to Ubisoft, and it will be a live event where players worldwide must team up to extinguish thousands of sequoia trees from burning down. The interesting thing is that players taking part will not be given a heads up about the wildfires; they will be thrown into the deep end without warning to try and emulate what it would be like in real life as best they can.

In this off-road racing game, players will need to try and locate the most at-risk areas of the Sequoia National Park while trying to engage in activities with other community members as well. The orange sky will illuminate the game, and the smoke will shroud every inch of the map, making certain parts inaccessible.

They went on to say,

Including these climate issues in Skull & Bones and the Rider Republic events is a really positive step by Ubisoft because there can truly never be enough awareness for all of these problems.
