TV star Teresa Giudice is gearing up for her upcoming wedding with the love of her life, Luis “Louie” Ruelas. However, not every member of her family will be present to see the exchange of vows. Giudice’s brother and fellow star, Joe Gorga, plans not to attend the occasion, including his wife, Melissa Gorga.
It is safe to say that there has been tension between the siblings for a while now. Fans got to see them go off on each other during the three-part reunion of RHONJ season 12 earlier this year. During the reunion, Joe stormed off while yelling at Teresa to “act like a sister.”
Why Teresa Giudice’s Brother Will Not Attend Her Wedding
According to a Page Six source, Teresa Giudice’s brother and wife will be absent at her wedding. The insider made sure to include that the couple was invited while also stating what could have been the cause of their decision. The source shared:
Another close source gave more insight, stating that Giudice stirred up a rumor that would lead to drama in Joe and Melissa’s marriage. The informant included that Joe and Ruelas did not seem to get along. They also referenced the fight between Joe and Giudice during the Real Housewives of New Jersey season 12 finale.
There seemed to have been signs of friction leading up to their plans to be absent at Giudice’s wedding. For one, Giudice announced in March that Melissa would not be one of her bridesmaids. While Melissa revealed at the time that she had no problem with Giudice’s decision, Joe was displeased. The entrepreneur shared that he felt disrespected.
Despite the brewing drama, it is noteworthy that Joe was happy for his sister after her engagement. He relayed at the time that he was excited that Giudice found the “superman” who would fix her life.
