Why Did RHOC Alum Meghan King File A Restraining Order Against Jim?
Reports suggest Meghan filed a temporary restraining order against Jim on June 18 after he allegedly abused her. Court records obtained from a Missouri court showed that the case was labeled “Adult abuse [without] stalking.
On September 8, a spokesperson for the St. Louis County Court told Page Six that the documents are confidential because the case is of a high-security level. Hence, such documents can only be obtained if one of the parties involved permits it.
According to TMZ, Meghan alleged in the documents that Jim frequently and consistently abused her via text and the co-parenting app Family Wizard. Insiders also told the news outlet that the former couple, who share daughter Aspen, 5, and twin sons, Hart and Hayes, 4, argued about co-parenting issues.
Jim Responds To The Filing
Following RHOC alum Meghan King’s file for a restraining order against Jim, his rep responded, telling TMZ:

Meghan And Jim’s Long History Of Disputes
RHOC Alum Meghan King and Jim Edmonds tied the knot on October 24, 2014. However, they separated in October 2019 and finalized their divorce in May 2021.
The former couple has a long history of public disputes. Meghan previously accused her ex-husband of cheating on her multiple times during their marriage. However, the former MLB star denied the allegations of infidelity.
Additionally, Meghan has opened up about her relationship with Jim since their divorce. In July, she revealed during an appearance on the Divorced Not Dead podcast that their relationship was horrible and detrimental for them and their kids.
