RHOA Kenya Moore is rumored to have her divorce on standstill. As you may be aware, she is splitting from her husband Marc Daly. But some people are wondering why it hasn’t actually happened yet. They filed for divorce in 2021, due to strains on the relationship. Being long distance didn’t help, either. Daly had filed first, with Moore quickly following suite. Though Moore had claimed all was well during their season, keen eyed fans knew better. There was even a hot mic moment when Marc revealed he kind of hated her and the show. So with all that drama taken into account, why are the two not legally separated yet?
When talking to Andy Cohen, RHOA Kenya Moore revealed that their divorce had reached a stand still. She says the two are just waiting on their trial date, but could there be more to this story? Marc also had issues with Kenya bringing their daughter Brooklyn on the show. She did so anyway with the courts ruling in her favor on that. Did that factor in as well?

“Kenya finally filed for divorce in May 2021. However, she and Marc are still legally married, since the process isn’t complete. During the season 14 reunion, The Real Housewives of Atlanta celeb shared her excitement about getting back on the dating scene, but explained why she’s still technically married. “He’s not asking for anything at this point,” Kenya told Andy Cohen, as noted by All About The Tea. “It’s just at a standstill, so until we get a trial date or settle, it’s still going to continue to go on.” Since Kenya’s filing, she has battled it out in court, due to a custody dispute over their daughter, Brooklyn. Marc has attempted to stop Kenya from featuring Brooklyn on the show. However, with Kenya working as a reality star, the courts ruled in her favor.”
It does seem to be just red tape holding up the finalization of the divorce. Kenya is feeling single and ready to mingle, but she just needs to be legally single first.
