The Resistance games have never reached that “must-own” status that Insomniac has consistently shot for. Resistance 2 had a lot to offer though, and from what we saw of the Resistance 3 demo yesterday the developer is looking to offer all of the same and more. The demo definitely didn’t hurt the game in any way, but I don’t seeing it helping it in terms of sales either. For one, it was a tad short. Also, people that didn’t like Resistance or Resistance 2 won’t find much to interest them in the third installment. Hopefully, we’ll get to see some of the game’s multiplayer in the coming days.
