Earlier this summer, we got news about what was coming for the Resident Evil franchise. We saw the new DLC that will arrive for Resident Evil Village. Next-gen upgrades for some of the latest games and, most importantly, a glimpse of the remake of Resident Evil 4. However, not too long ago, some Resident Evil 9 leaks that might or might not be true surfaced. These leaks point to some new things about the new location, enemies, and even some returning gimmicks. However, as with any other Resident Evil 9 rumor, we must take it with a grain of salt.
Resident Evil 9 Leaks Hint At A Western Ghost Town
Its probable location is the first and biggest of the supposed Resident Evil 9 leaks. This time it points to a Western ghost town. This is a setting that the franchise has not used yet. Now, as with any other rumor, we need to be careful. Yet, it doesn’t sound bad. If there is something that Capcom has done with the last games is get the ambiance and setting right. So, whether this Resident Evil 9 rumor is true or not, we know they’ll do a great job with any place the game is set on.
Another thing that surfaced with these Resident Evil 9 leaks is the enemy type. Apparently, the enemies will be some mix of mythical creatures. Now, Resident Evil Village had some werewolf-like enemies. So, mythical creatures seem right up Capcom’s latest alley. Another Resident Evil 9 rumor is about a new character. One that will be similar to Lady Dimitrescu. We know that a lot of players will be happy about this. Yet, there has not been any official confirmation from Capcom. So these leaks and rumors could very well be accurate right now but change after some time. All that remains is to wait.
