The note of death has been reported as a suicide by People. Ian Alexander Jr. was born on January 19, 1996. He had just celebrated his 26th birthday.

King and her son were incredibly close throughout their time together. At one point, the pair got matching ink after being inspired by their Kabbalah classes. They also hype each other up on social media, with the aforementioned “Green Eyes” track and Ian’s tribute to his hard-working mother.
