Realme has added a new smartphone to its X50 lineup in China. Called Realme X50m, it is the third device in the X50 series after the Realme X50 5G and the Realme X50 Pro that were launched earlier this year. The most affordable and device in the lineup, the Realme X50m supports 5G connectivity and comes with much the same specs as the X50 except for the cameras, even though it still sports a quad-cam setup at the back and a dual-cam setup upfront.
The Realme X50 m features a 6.57-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080) IPS LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate. The screen has an oblong cutout at the top-left corner to house the dual front-facing cameras. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC and, comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage.
The Realme X50 is available in two variants, one with 6GB of RAM + 128GB storage and another, with 8GB of RAM + 128GB of storage. They have been priced at 1,999 yuan (around $280, Rs. 20,000) and 2,299 yuan (around $320, Rs. 23,000), respectively. They’ll go on sale in China on April 29 in Starry Blue and Galaxy White color options. There’s no word on the phone’s global launch plans at the moment, but we’ll let you know if we get any info on that front.
