Realme Might Be Looking To Rival Apple Magsafe With Magdart

Chinese smartphone giant Realme might be working on an Apple MagSafe-like wireless charging technology for its devices. The company has recently filed an application for a trademark at European as well as the Indian certification platforms. According to these filings, Realme’s version of MagSafe will be called “MagDart” and might soon make its way to the market.

Initially spotted by reputable tipster Mukul Sharma, the trademark application was filed at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). Furthermore, a report from MySmartPrice states that Realme has also filed the MagDart trademark application at India’s CGPDTM (Controller General of Patents, Designs, and Trade Marks) website.
