Alongside the launch of its much-awaited Realme 3 Pro budget smartphone, the company today also took the wraps off its entry-level Realme C2 smartphone. It’s an upgrade over the Realme C1, which launched last year, in terms of design, build, processing power, and of course, the cameras.
The Realme C2 steps foot into one of the most flourishing smartphone segments in India with pretty decent pricing. The base variant of the device, 2GB+16GB has been priced at Rs 5,999 whereas the 3GB+32GB will retail at Rs 7,999. The latter isn’t the best price as you can easily get better options, like the ZenFone Max M2 or Redmi 6.
The Realme C2 still carries forward the “diamond-cut design” we saw on its predecessor, however, it appears to have been refined this time around. The company boasts that it’s going to smudge-free but we’ll have to test out the same when the smartphone lands in our hands.
Realme is calling the C2 an entertainment powerhouse, so the device sports a 6.1-inch HD+ screen with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 89.35% screen-to-body ratio. This means you now have more screen real-estate to enjoy web browsing, watching Netflix, YouTube, and more.

Moving to the camera department, well, you get a 13MP+2MP dual-rear camera setup, along with a 5MP AI selfie camera. You will get a myriad of other camera features such as Chrome Boost, 80fps/480p slo-mo video recording, and more.
