Unexpect the Expected for In Sound Mind
Today, the publishers behind the upcoming psychological horror experience In Sound Mind announced a couple of additions regarding the game. Modus Games will be distributing a special retail deluxe version and adding another platform for more to enjoy.
The Deluxe Edition for In Sound Mind includes the game, an art book, and the original soundtrack. In Sound Mind‘s sinister and eerie “sounds” come from the iconic internet band known as The Living Tombstone. Coupled with a playable demo on Steam, the track “A Doll’s House” (featuring Hayley Nelson) provides a tease of what to expect. Its somber lyrics are accompanied by some of the strange sights that the player will find themselves in.

Furthermore, In Sound Mind will be coming to the Nintendo Switch and the next-gen consoles and PC this year. The Deluxe Edition is retailed at $39.99, with the standard standalone version going for just five bucks less at $34.99. The game is available for pre-order now.
What is In Sound Mind?
In Sound Mind twists the horror genre by messing with your reality and fears. By exploring unsettling memories of other individuals, the dangers of your own mind are at risk when the horror becomes all too real. Not much of the story has been unveiled, but the game will feature disturbing sentient mannequins, color-shifting atmospheres, and a very peculiar talking cat. Its development comes from the guys at We Create Stuff, the same team behind the cult classic Nightmare House 2 and the Valve-approved Portal: The Flash Version.
