The Bachelorette season 19 ended with Rachel Recchia and Tino Franco going their separate ways after a short-lived engagement. Despite the heartbreaking end, the Bachelorette remains unwilling to abandon her quest for love. During an interview with People, the reality star revealed she hoped to reach a point with Tino where they found peace with each other.

Rachel Recchia Hopes To Love Again After The Bachelorette

Speaking to People, Rachel Recchia explored the details of her split with Tino Franco, and how things played out afterward. Going further, the 26-year-old noted that the heartbreaking turn of events did little to crush her belief in love or deter her from moving forward. But until then, she hoped to have some personal reflections of her own. The TV personality divulged,

Rachel also established that Tino wanted to salvage their relationship and make things work, but her inability to trust him again got in the way. According to her, during their conversation, she noticed no shred of remorse, as he failed to own up to his actions, opting instead to blame her for it.

She believed he kept hitting her with more lies, making it harder to trust him. Knowing she could not continue a relationship with someone she did not trust completely, The Bachelorette co-lead figured a breakup was inevitable.

What Rachel Thinks Of Her And Tino’s Breakup

Rachel Recchia began nursing suspicions when Tino kept bringing up concerns about leaked messages, and allegations against a fellow The Bachelorette cast member. In an attempt to unveil why he brought it up so much, she asked Tino if he had something to tell her, to which he replied “no” only to reveal later on that he cheated on her.

Knowing she had to force the admission out of him made the flight attendant feel his infidelity carried on for longer than he claimed. Rachel Recchia also believed Tino had something more to hide, but she did not have the facts. She added:

Thanks to the support from her Bachelorette co-lead Gabby Windey, Rachel Recchia found the strength to move on from Tino. She described Gabby as a “Godsend,” thanking the ICU nurse for being there for her. Despite coming out stronger, she felt disappointed she did not find the love story she hoped for on the show. Notwithstanding, Rachel Recchia was content knowing she won in the end, walking away with all the love in the world, from Gabby and all The Bachelorette viewers rooting for her.
