PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is officially on it’s way to the PlayStation 4. After being announced as an Xbox One console exclusive last year, PUBG will be coming to Sony’s console on Dec. 7, 2018, according to the PlayStation Blog.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will come fully featured with everything currently available on other consoles. According to the PlayStation Blog:
PUBG on PS4 comes with a few exclusive items. For pre-ordering the title, gamers will get the Uncharted 3 Nathan Drake skin for their avatar, as well as Ellie’s backpack from The Last of Us. Additionally, a PSN avatar and custom Miramar theme will be provided with every pre-order.
The title comes with a few different options for pre-ordering PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, which are as follows:
- Disc Edition: $30 USD (MSRP) / $38.99 CAD (MSRP) Includes: Base Game
- Looter’s Digital Edition: $30 USD (MSRP) / $38.99 CAD (MSRP) Includes: Base Game
- Survivor’s Digital Edition: $50 USD (MSRP) / $64.99 CAD (MSRP) Includes: Base Game, Vikendi Event Pass, 2,300 G-Coin Pack, 20,000 BP
- Champion’s Digital Edition: $60 USD (MSRP) / $77.99 CAD (MSRP) Includes: Base Game, Vikendi Event Pass, 6,000 G-Coin Pack, 20,000 BP
PS4 Engineering Lead Changmin Lee, who helped port PUBG over to PlayStation 4, had this to say about bringing the title to the console:
