The latest update regarding PS5 is out now, fixing some ongoing issues with the console’s hardware. From annoying noises to the PS5’s disc drive to other fixes. Hopefully, this next update will cure the problems users have been experiencing.

In the form of a PS5 firmware update, the fixes will be implemented throughout various PS5 consoles worldwide. Since Sony is out of stock most of the time, existing users are still getting the treatment for their systems.

One of the main problems users have been facing within the PS5 console is the issue of the disc drive creating a large racket of sound. Being an issue attached to the console since its initial release. Causing players to go insane from the nuisance, the community has had enough. However, Sony has not confirmed the fix but has answered some prayers by releasing this next PS5 firmware update.

In terms of the update, various fixes are present. And, of course, potentially fixing the disk drive issue. The main feature within the upcoming update is the external storage support, allowing users to finally store their PS5 games on an external drive. Whilst the built-in drive PS5 is causing the noise, hopefully, using a different disc drive will eliminate the sound.

Seeing as Sony has not addressed the issue, this could be their way of fixing the problem anonymously. But all in all, users are hoping the fix is near since the innocent ears of chill gamers. And they are in much need of their uninterrupted game sound.
