Sony says they are easily outselling the Xbox One with their PlayStation 4, by a margin of 1.5:1 in the UK. Sony’s UK Executive Fergal Gara revealed the numbers earlier today at even dedicated to revealing a new slimmer PS Vita model.
IGN reports that Gara believes there has been serious pressure on Sony to recapture the UK Market, after Microsoft’s Xbox 360 outsold the PlayStation 3 by a similar margin.
Gara claims that the company’s market share has risen sharply over the last two years, growing from 23% to 40%.
For now it sounds like their mission has been accomplished, for the PS4 launch at least. Sony’s PlayStation 4 is the UK’s fastest selling console…ever.
