Remedy’s Communications Director Thomas Puha and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story‘s writer Gary Whitta have talked about the movie based on Control, the recently released action-adventure game. The conversation started from a tweet Whitta shared in response to the question about which game would users like to turn into a movie if they had the chance. He answered Control and that he would like to write it, and the thing didn’t pass unnoticed on Twitter....

Horizon: Zero Dawn, the next big PS4 exclusive set for release next Tuesday, could have some big shoes to fill if one research firm is to be believed. Gaming research firm SuperData is expecting Horizon: Zero Dawn to net about 6 million sales by the end of the year and 8 million total, according to a report by GameFly. That total sales number is important, as it would put the new property by Guerilla Games right alongside established gaming royalty, as it would be close to the sales totals of games like Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End....

According to a leak, we could have our Resident Evil 3 remake way sooner than we think. Capcom has announced, a bit out of surprise, a Nintendo Switch version of Resident Evil 7 biohazard. What’s most surprising of the announcement is that the game is only coming via cloud to the Japanese market. As revealed in a new trailer for the game, Resident Evil 7 biohazard is coming to the Nintendo Switch via a cloud-based platform which will be requiring an always online connectivity to the Internet and, of course, a top quality network....

Jill Valentine comes to Resistance in a future update. Resident Evil Resistance is the multiplayer component of Resident Evil 3, pitting a team of four survivors against one player-controlled mastermind that must prevent their escape. There are several playable survivors for players to choose from, each with their own unique traits, but as it stands right now, every one of them is an original character. There aren’t any Resident Evil protagonists or famous Resident Evil characters among the survivor roster, but that will change in the future....

Conflicting reports have come in surrounding Matt Reeves’ The Batman film. Variety is reporting that Twilight star Robert Pattinson has just about locked up the role as the Dark Knight. The site stated that although the deal hasn’t been finalized yet, it is expected to be completed shortly. Deadline, however, has reported that Reeves and WB haven’t decided on their new Batman yet. According to Deadline, Robert Pattinson is on the shortlist for the role but so is X-Men: First Class star, Nicholas Hoult....
