Shinji Mikami, the founder of Tango Gameworks, in a recent discussion with Jun Takeuchi, the executive producer of Resident Evil 7, talked about the game’s development. Rumors surfaced this weekend that studio co-founder Jason West of Respawn Entertainment had left the studio. Today, in a post on the PlayStation Blog, Hopoo Games announced that Risk of Rain is heading to both the PS4 and PS Vita with cross-platform co-op. As the game’s wiki states, “Risk of Rain is an action platformer/adventure game with randomized elements. With permanent death as a primary feature, players will have to play their best to get as far as possible.” As of writing, the game has 17,128 user reviews on Steam, with 94% of them being positive....

The Nintendo Switch is a console I’ve really fallen in love with over recent months. I’ve been using it to play Dark Souls on the go as well as catching up on older games I’ve missed over the years. With news breaking earlier in the month that Sony is seeking to produce 10 million PlayStation 5 units for this winter, Digi Times has now reported that a backend supplier for the console claims the hardware-maker believes it will sell at least 120 million units of the console after five years on the market. The outlet’s sources within the supplier expect Sony to shrink the traditional console life to five years, but also that Sony will aim to sell 120 to 170 million PS5 units within that time....

Legendary Pokemon are strong, but they can’t beat everything. Now that you have reached the endgame of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the various Tera Raids have gotten beefier. In becoming so, the reward payouts are better, the IV distributions are better, and hidden abilities are more prevalent. However, it might be difficult to set up a private raid group, so you go public. Not affecting everyone. It feels like it has been awhile since we’ve had a big PlayStation Network outage, but that time is here again as PSN is currently out for many people right. This outage started around 3 am ET or so and is still out as of the time of this writing. This is a different kind of outage though, as it doesn’t really seem like it’s down until you try to actually open your games or play them online....
