According to an internal data leak from Capcom, Resident Evil Village is releasing in “late April 2021” and has plans for a multiplayer mode that hasn’t been revealed yet. Documents coming from the Japanese developer, which has reckoned it suffered a data leak last week, mention a demo is releasing three weeks before the full game’s release, with pre-orders starting in January 2021. It looks like Microsoft is set to release a new Xbox One console SKU that features a 1TB hard drive. The new 1TB Xbox One console has been listed by Spanish retailer, Lamee Software. It’s pretty much just the basic bundle with the console itself and one controller. The only difference is that it includes a 1TB hard drive instead of just the 500GB hard drive we’ve already received. According to Lamee Software, this 1TB Xbox One console has a release date of June 23rd, 2015....

Sony’s PlayStation Network hasn’t had the best track record when it comes to security. A very high profile hack of PSN occurred a few years ago, leading to a shift in policy, and a whole lot of compensation going out to users. After that incident Sony has placed an extra emphasis on PSN security, with today marking another major step toward more players being more secure: 2-Step Verification. “Passwords can be compromised if you use the same password for multiple accounts, click on malicious links, open phishing emails and other methods,” reads the activation page....

Update: PSN should be back online now. It was down for at least 6 hours or so. It may take some time for people to log in still. It looks like the PSN is having a little trouble for many this weekend. The status of the network is down for many platforms. The official PSN status page shows that a lot of “services are experiencing issues” at the moment. This includes the PS3, PS4 and other PlayStation devices....

Today, Sega announced their new seasonal event in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis (PSO2: NGS) that begins today and lasts until February 8th. The Winter World Trial will include various seasonal events and limited-time rewards, including a 5-star weapon series, seasonal world trial, and Mission Pass: NGS season 4 will also begin this month, ending the same day as the event. With the PSO2: New Genesis Winter Trial event comes new seasonal enemies, featuring Nore Rappies with new outfits....
