During the Capcom all-virtual E3 2021 presentation on June 14th, DLC for the never-ending meme generator Resident Evil Village was announced by the developer. While the dev didn’t give a whole lot of specifics in the brief time RE Village was in the spotlight, Capcom did acknowledge the love for the game the fans had shown since its launch. According to recent rumors, a remastered edition of L.A. Noire is possibly in the works, and could come with VR support and a first-person mode similar to that in Grand Theft Auto V. According to a new report, the incoming PS5 could be released with two different models, which would be offered to serve different audiences. This idea first came to mind to Microsoft, that was said to have two Xbox models in the making in the Scarlett family, but they ultimately scrapped that plan and went for just one console at E3 2019. PUBG Lite, the low-spec, free-to-play version of PUBG Corps’ enormously successful PlayerUnknown’s Battleground, will be closing down at the end of April. The game can no longer be downloaded, but players who already have access can spend any in-game credits until April 29. In an announcement released on the official PUBG website, PUBG Corp explained that shutting down the free-to-play version was a difficult decision that took “much deliberation.” As such, the service will end on April 29, with player support ending a month later on May 29....

Radical Heights is Boss Key Production’s newest entrant to the Battle Royale genre. The Cliff Bleszinski led studio had hoped to bring back the arcade shooter with Lawbreakers, but recently announced it would be moving on from that project to focus on their 80’s themed BR game instead. The game is available as a Free to Play, Early Access title on Steam now. I haven’t played it yet, but have been watching some streams of it, and it certainly looks like a Battle Royale game....

A report published by Polygon alleged that the game has had a particularly rough five-year development cycle marred by a move to a new engine, as well as excruciating crunch at TT Games. Former and current TT Games employees claimed that development on the game started in 2017, and that management had opted to forgo using the popular Unreal Engine for The Skywalker Saga....

The Weapon Locker Card will get you a shotgun early in the game. The first time that you visit the second floor Art Room you’re going to find that there’s a Weapon Locker Key Card just sitting out in the open. This item actually unlocks a pretty powerful weapon fairly early on in the game. There’s really only one requirement to getting this Weapon Locker Card and then you just need to take it to the appropriate area to use it....

Do more frequent critical damage. Resident Evil 3 is much more action-focused than its predecessor, and as such, there are tons of attachments that enhance and upgrade the various weapons Jill and Carlos carry. The Moderator is one such attachment, a suppressor for Jill’s G19 handgun that increases the chance of dealing critical damage to enemies. It’s a missable attachment, and if you don’t know how to get it, you probably won’t come across it during your playthrough....

Looking to redeem itself after the lackluster Resident Evil Resistance, Capcom has unraveled a new multiplayer experience with Resident Evil Re:Verse.
